Brown was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and comes from a transient family upbringing. After moving around the country at a young age, she eventually settled with her family in San Francisco. No matter where she lived, however, she always held a passion for both the performing arts and martial arts. At seven, she booked her first commercial for Fox Television and started modeling for print advertising campaigns shortly thereafter.
Brown studied Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do, and Capoeria onward into her teen years, and danced professionally with varied indoctrination in styles such as tap, jazz, modern, ballet, hip-hop, and even traditional Hawaiian and Tahitian. She shares classical vocal training as well as instrumental tutelage having learned the cello and violin. Over time, life in San Francisco whilst attending a raft of performing art schools (Young People's Musical Theater Company, A.C.T. Conservatory, School of the Arts High School and Bennett Theatre Lab, to name a few) became clearer and clearer in her inculcation to fully commit to her creative endeavors.
Following a career in Silicon Valley as a Network Technician and an Internet Systems Engineer, Brown soon moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a profession in the arts and entertainment industry. She combines all of her talents in drama - including her physical skillset comprised of dance and martial arts - in order bring life, grace and subtlety to the characters she plays on camera.
Brown has worked extensively on different films in a number of characters across the spectrum; She can be seen as henchwoman "Anastasia" in Ben Ramsey's Michael Jai White action thriller, BLOOD AND BONE with Eamonn Walker and Julian Sands, as well as special-ops soldier "Rachel Gant" in DARK ISLAND with Jai Koutrae and Zero Kazama, and enigatic minimalist vengeful swordswoman "Japoniko" in NIGHT OF THE TEMPLAR with Norman Reedus, Udo Kier, and the late David Carradine. Her listed credits further entail the role of "Jasmine" the courtesan next to Russell Crowe in director/star RZA's THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS and Christian Sesma's 2016 action thriller AWOL 72, as international undercover special agent "Monica" opposite Luke Goss, and Bokeem Woodbine with RZA co-starring.
As of 2017, Brown's work extends to performing stuntwork in Stewart Hendler's adaptation of MAX STEEL, and working internationally on Star World Asia's television show, THE APARTMENT. She is featured as "Sapphire" in the hip-hop drama musical, COCO, opposite John David Washington, and has also appeared in three other projects helmed by Sesma; She played the role of "Swan", a deadly and dangerous bodyguard to the villain role of "Barrington" played by Michael Jai White in VIGILANTE DIARIES, and as "Private Fasma" in the 2016 sci-fi thriller, MIND BLOWN. In the 2017 sci-fi, DOOMSDAY DEVICE, Brown stars as "Kana", a Yakuza hitwoman whose centuries-old Samurai lineage has since destined her with a longstanding duty to protect the world from the evil power of the sought after Japanese doomsday stone.

Mary Christina Brown now lives in the bustling concrete jungle of downtown Los Angeles where she practices yoga, dance, voice, fight choreography, and trains in an increasing repetoire of martial arts styles and weapons, and enjoys horseback riding and the great outdoors.
